On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…a little self-care time.
As much as we love the holiday season, we know it can be a stressful time. Whether you’re playing host this year for family or spending it on your own, the spirit of the holidays can lose its joyful spark when things become too overwhelming. So, it’s important to make sure you’re keeping up with a self care during the holidays, even if you think you won’t have enough time.
To make things easy for you, we’ve created a self-care guide for you to follow for the next 12 days:
Day One: Skincare Ritual

Day Two: Meditate

Day Four: Take a break from social media
As much as we love scrolling through feeds, spending too much time on your phone can dampen your mental health. Challenge yourself to step away from social media today.
Day Five: Move your body
Regular exercise has been proven to boost your endorphins. So, do whatever you need to get your body moving!
Day Six: Write down what you’re grateful for in a journal
Write down all the things that have made you happy and thankful this the last year in a journal.
Day Seven: Spend time with your friends
Call a friend you haven’t spoken to in a while or meet with your girlfriends for coffee. Vent, laugh, gossip – whatever you do with your pals, connect with them today.
Day Eight: Have a movie night
Get into your comfy PJs, make yourself a cup of hot chocolate, and put on your favorite festive film tonight.
Day Nine: Write down your 2022 goals
Get a head start with your new year’s resolution and write down your dreams and goals for 2022.
Day Ten: Run a warm bath
Give yourself some me-time with a nice, warm bath. Pour yourself a glass of wine, lean back, and just let the stress melt away.
Day Eleven: Winter cleaning
It’s time for some spring – uh, winter cleaning! A clean, organized home can help to declutter the mind.
Day Twelve: Naptime!
It’s the last day. You did it; you made it through the stressful holiday period. Treat yourself to some Zzzss with a well-deserved nap!
